The Social Responsibility Committee, along with Cascade Engineering, are hosting this month's meeting. Kelley Losey, Director of Quest Sustainable Solutions/Cascade Engineering, will offer an overview of B Corp certification. Cascade Engineering is the first company in Michigan and the largest worldwide to receive certification. Certified B Corporations are a new type of corporation that uses the power of business to solve social and environmental programs, meeting comprehensive and transparent social and environmental performance standards and higher legal accountability standards. Member organizations will share best practices in the area of social responsibility.
